¡Hola! We are a diverse, inclusive, and dynamic group of students who love the Spanish language and culture! Our club holds bi-monthly meetings where we seek to improve our language skills through casual conversation, fun games, and interaction with members of the community. We meet every other Wednesday night from 8:30-9:30pm! No prior experience with Spanish is required! Please email us at spanishclub.rutgers@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.

Aside from general meetings, Rutgers Spanish Club also hosts special events, such as cultural celebrations and volunteering. In 2019, we hosted an Art Night (Arte de Todas Partes), Music Cafe (Café de Música), and interpretation for Redshaw Elementary School parents in New Brunswick! 

In 2022, we sold bracelets from the Pulsera Project which were handmade by artists in Nicaragua. The money raised went towards the cost of education, housing, and healthcare. 

Every semester we try to have a trip to learn more about the language and culture! Past trips have included visits to El museo del barrio and to see a play (in Spanish!) in New York City!
